When they are 17 years old, 6 ft tall and eating everything that is not crazyglued to the refrigerator shelves you tend to forget how tiny they once were. Just look at the relative size of the fingers in the second pic!

He's about 7 lbs. at the moment.. and changing every day.  He is mighty tiny indeed.  He has a set of lungs on him too.  He can communicate that he is having new sensations and that he is unsatisfied quite well.  So far things have been pretty good... and challenging.  I am not looking forward to having my wife's Mom leave.  She's doing so much for us... and with minimal instruction.  There is not enough appreciation in the world for that kind of help.
