I'm still waiting for Lonewolf to bring his Modwright over.

I'll "round it up" this week....and if you want I can give you two others to try as well. :thumb:

Good advice, thanks Chris.

Back to caps. looking to try some juicy fruit flavored caps in my amps. Using V-cap Teflons now. There are two caps. An input coupling and driver to output coupling cap. The values are .1 and .47. Yes rich, fat and juicy any suggestions besides PIO in oil or Obbligato. The input tube is a Mullard 6DJ8 and the driver is a Tungsol 5687 output GE 211.  Thanks .

What about using input transformer and interstage coupling transformer in place of the coupling capacitors?

Karl has some Lundahl input transformers, and I have some sowter interstage tranformers potted in Mu metal.
If you want to give them a try.

Mike
System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

It will require someone with tube circuit design experience to do it, since interstage impedances are critical. Whereas swapping in caps is theoretically easy.

I always turn to this ongoing review for cap descriptions:

Also, don't forget Jon L's famous cap comparisons on AC:
