I just recently sold a Melody I2A3 to another AN member.  Believe me when I say that I was very reluctant to part with it.  Great looks and great sound, combined with outstanding build quality.  I really don't know what more anyone could ask for in an amp.

Of course.  But you have to understand that I bought it as a dedicated amp to run a pair of AKG K1000 headphones.  My speaker rig is driven by a pair of 300B mono block amps from Woo Audio.

I sold the Melody and AKG K1000s because I wasn't using them very often, though I really loved the sound when I did use them.  And I had other audio initiatives I wanted to pursue that required the space in my rack that was occupied by the Melody.

My wife rejected the suggestion that we should convert the master bedroom into another man cave for myself and the two of us could pitch a tent in the back yard and sleep out there with the critters.   So the Melody had to go.

A decision she will regret once the novelty of a warm dry bed wears off.
