Specs

The full power spec is at 10% distortion. Even 1W @ 4ohms is 0.1% distortion. Tripath 2024. I thought Tripath went under? I someone still making chips, or old stock?  I think your modded ICE amp will walk all over it in power and purity.

The 6922 needs at least 24V B+. So there is DC>DC converter chip inside for the 12VDC wall wart.

Are the speaker posts banana only?

Yes it is cute! Have you read any reviews of the sound quality? Probably decent for the price.

no just eye candy. Of course my amp will walk over it! I've got 2x75w and icely low distortion. I think there was a lot of Tripath stock bought up and I think I read that someone else is now manufacturing the chips. Given the number of firms making T. amps this sounds reaonable to asume. I like cute little toys.

I like cute little toys.

I know, especially with tubes sticking out the top!

It is a gorgeous look, with the polished anodized aluminum.  8)  Not sure if it would be too much bling for a full sized amp? Nuforce had burnt orange aluminum anodized case for a while, but it was satin and not so bright. Looked nice.

Similar specs to the Sonic Impact and its clones.  I had a Red Wine version that sounded good that hit much heavier than you'd imagine, but dumped it when it came time to replace the battery (had to be done by them and it broke on the way back home).
