Does anyone know of a SE amplifier design using this brute of a tube?

NOS 300B are $2500.00 a pop!
The KT170 should put out a lot more power than the SE KT150 amp I heard that sounded glorious. Run conservatively it should last a very long time.

So are these so very much better sounding than, say a 6bq5, or the 6L6 family? You're talking about an order of magnitude in price difference.

According to their FB page, it is €6,150.00. But, I do love the copper top plate and the wooden accents.
I better look someplace else for my tube amplifier fix until I win the Publisher's Clearing House weekly draw...
