Just thought I'd throw this out there to see who all is going. I'll be representing GIK this year in the IRIS room with Chris from BPT, Steve from Empirical Audio, and will be using Jim Salk's new SoundScape speakers.
Should be fun.

Sounds yummy. They are lucky to have you in there Bryan. It's gonna be a great sounding room. I know you'll be bringing the new diffusors... Even the big ones? Are you driving out?
Unfortunately I won't be coming (again) this year. :duh

We'll have Tri Traps, 242 Art Panels, and 4 of the new QRD diffusers there.
Glenn is shipping everything so I get to fly instead of driving 12 hours across Kansas and Colorado. :thumb:

I'll be there and will have Kaplan Cable products in 3 rooms.
1. Tweekgeeks where the power cords will be the new GS mkII, and the speaker cables my GS.
2. German Physics with my new power cords, speaker cables, as well as my new power conditioner.
3. Galibier with my speaker cables and power cords.
Looking forward to seeing everyone,
Paul
PS - Bryan, call me about upgrading your GS powercords, its a large improvement

Some nice equipment there Paul. Your cords must be good.... 8)
Have a nice show, wish I could see you there.

Paul's power cables are excellent. I absolutely love them. I've not heard the MkII yet but am looking forward to it.

As much as I like the RMAF I probably won't make it out there unless I'm there for other reasons already. I like the social aspect of this hobby more than the gear... and I will miss seeing people. Is there ever a chance of an East Coast Audio Fest?

Smokey Mountain Audio Fest?
I'm sure there would be a lot of takers if someone was willing to get it going.

There was a Washington D.C. fest this past June. I don't anybody who went or know how good it was, but that's at least a start.

Maybe that will pickup some support and it can become the East Coast version of the RMAF?

I like a good party.. especially a 2 or 3 day party where everyone is getting down with some sweet music, enjoying the same hobby.
It'd be a lot easier to organize it if I were in the place where the function would be held. Raleigh, NC is fairly central and I'd be willing to make something happen if anyone wants to help. Feel free to PM me with ideas.
If it's in the mountains, that's a little far for me to plan.. but I'd be there if someone puts it together. 8)
