very silly question!

anybody got a GOOD power cable with a French plug they can't use?  I can take it off you! (told you it was a silly question) My Marantz is due any minute now and my geek/guru is mighty displeased I am still using the stock zip chord. Since it's so accessible, I will desolder and re-do a new one, provided it has a bare end and I don't have to butcher something existing. In case you are wondering, it's cold as a witch's mammery gland here in yea old southern france :shock:

French Plug


Not a bad idea shep, soldering in an upgrade wire as captive to replace the stock wire.  Is that what you mean?

Check out ebay item #130353560008. It is a guy from Australia selling an MIT Shotgun AC1 power cable with an EU plug.
