With a lot of people listening to music from their phones and YouTube, we have decided to start incorporating tone controls (Bass, Midrange, Treble) into future preamplifiers. Of course, there is also a bypass switch to take the tone control circuit out of the signal path.
The unit below is for sale. It is a custom built Spirit 1 12AU7 Linestage with Bluetooth as well as using tone controls and a balance control as well as a tone control bypass switch. Black Gate power supply filter capacitors and Clarity Cap output capacitors.
Asking $1,050 including shipping to lower 48 to anyone who see tbis ad. ($1,250 on website)
Full Details about this preamp can be seen on our specials page.

Congratulations on the sale. Tone controls are a great idea. I recall seeing them on older restored gear.

Thanks Nick. I like the idea of tone controls on a preamp but also have to have a bypass for the tone controls. It depends on what your listening too. A great feature when using Bluetooth as well.
