Anybody have any Digital Monk to Share?
« on: March 05, 2010, 09:20:06 AM »
A friend of mine is beginning to explore jazz and I'd like to burn him a CD or two of classic T Monk. I have a boatload of his music on vinyl, but the only CD I have is the disappointing recently released recordings at Carnegie Hall with Coltrane (I was sure this would be stellar...I found it flat).  I'd like to get Brilliant Corners or something in that vein?  Is anyone willing to share?

I have "At the Blackhawk," "With John Coltrane," "At The Five Spot," and "Live at Carnegie Hall" on CD. I have some with bird too.

I like Carnegie Hall! I hope they release the rest of that historic concert.
