I agree that it looks cool, but pretty much a gimmick.  But they sure got the funding!

How the hell do they keep the tracking force strong enough to keep the stylus against the record and in the groove and yet, not cut "new" grooves in the process!?!  :shock:

From what I read, the arm has perfect left/right balance which eliminates the need for "Anti-Skating", and Tracking-Force is via a spring set to 2 grams.

There were verticle tables other than B&O ;)
