What sources will you have available for us to play some our own music selections?

I will have my CD player which is an older JVC unit heavily modded by Paradox.
I will also have a VPI Prime turntable , courtesy of VPI.
Step up transformers courtesy of Dave Slagel
A Paradox Pulse R Ruby cantilever cartridge and a Paradox Pulse
phono stage.
Please do bring plenty of music, I hear some great tracks brought in by show goers.

Thanks to Rich Hollis of Hollis Audio Labs.
I will have digital files covered, as well as the ability to play flash drives from show goers.
He is supplying his HAL MS-3 Music Server's and dspMusik DAC for CAF.
I think we have the sources covered...unless someone comes in with an 8 track !!

You now have all the bases covered, I might even bring some vinyl to spin on your VPI TT setup, I want to hear the modded Denon 103.

Have two MS-3 Music Servers running Windows 10 OS to bring to Greg's room at CAF.  Always good to have a spare.

The dspMusik's are ready as well.

Hope to see folks there!

We had a blast at CAF 2015. Made some good music.
Thanks to all who came with great selections of music to play.

Special thanks to Terence Robinson for his wonderful sounding
Paradox Pulse electronics and cables.
And Rich Hollis for his DJ duty with his excellent HAL music server.

Hi All,
The latest set of AV showroom videos from CAF 2015 are out.

The GT Audio Works room is in the mix.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjcfYBMz3so

At 5:46 and 7:25 into the video
Peter Brunninger Quote " The best under $10k speakers I have heard at a show all year"
"May be the best under $25k system I have ever heard"

Hey Scotty,
Who is yacking at the beginning of my video ??
Motor mouth !!

Mea culpa, I was unaware that the person with the SLR was rolling video and that my dulcet tones would be captured to live forever in infamy on the world wide web.
Personally I think the set should have been cleared of undesirables before shooting was commenced.

have to agree my computer speakers never sounded so good!

Congrats on a great product! After hearing a Bach Cantata on your speakers I was floored. The scale and separation and tone was breathtaking! I was immersed in music.
Saving my money for a pair.

No biggie Scotty, he caught me by surprise too.
Glad to see you made the trip up, and visited my room throughout the weekend.

I do love speakers, but I gotta draw the line somewhere!   :D

I hope to hear your speakers again (in person) before I buy new speakers next year.

EDIT: Just learned over on AC that this system also used HAL music server and DAC.   Was it the dspMusick DAC?

I believe it was, ask Rich to be sure.
I can tell you it sounded awesome especially the high rez stuff.

Yes, it was the HAL MS-3 running Windows 10 and the dspMusik as a DAC at the show for digital replay.    :)

The video was the moded JVC CD player that Greg brought, since that was used for the demo CD's brought by the reviewer.
