Hi all.
I was curious to know which sources had the best sound quality.
In the left corner :
My ASUS laptop with Schiit Fulla 2 via usb cable.
In the right corner :
My Grace Digital Mondo RIT via RCA Analog output.
The swithching between the two was done via
Schiit SYS to my Cambridge 2.1 amplifier subwoofer
with Sony two way bass reflex bookself speakers.
After adjusting the volume on both sources
the judge (That's me with my 71 years old ears)
could not ear any difference in sound quality.
Sooo... Now I know.
My curiousity has been satisfied.

I'm confused. Are you saying a portable device [ Grace ] is equal to your laptop in sound quality ?

Hi Charles and all.
Yes, that's what I wrote.
My ASUS laptop usb output connecxion to the Schiit Fulla 2 sound as good
or no better than the rca analog output of my Grace Digital Mondo.
Both analog signal out of the two units (Laptop via Fulla 2) going to my amplifier
are - have the same sound quality, no difference to my ears.
Look like it's surprising you ?

Note : I didn't see anywhere the word '' Portable '' refeering to my Grace Mondo ? ? ? ? ?
