The new GR Neo3 and BG Neo10 open baffle planar top flat packs are on the way along with the new HX300 amp boxes.  Hope to have them by next week for install and testing.  A new pair of GR Neo3's are here for mod to install once the baffles are built.

Once these are built, the 2x12's and dspMusikLCD crossover will be setup for frequency response testing with the triamp setup.

The new HX300 amp boxes are here from Jay.  Time for some gluing.

Here are the flat pack parts for an HX300 servo amp box. Nicely cut and easy to glue with the biscuits.

Takes less than 10 minutes for me to glue and clamp. Then let dry overnight and ready to apply a finish.

Latest pictures of The Monoliths new planar baffles from Jay. Also one with the servo subs.

Finished HX300 amp boxes with an HX300 test fit.

Looking forward to building these when the flat packs arrive!

Thanks Dave and Charles,

Here are the updated baffles from Jay with much improved frequency response.

They are ready for testing and then a set of baffle cut to build up.

doug s,

It is a waveguide from the design and testing point for the planar tweeter.  Does a very good job with the GR Neo3.

Glue-up has begun.

Started with the short side wing and small clamps.  Glue and let set.

Attach bottom plate to baffle and short side wing with glue and clamp let it set.

After that will attach the long side wing with glue and let it set over night.

Baffle #2 is glued and drying.  Let them fully dry for 24 hours and then install the planars to start testing with the dspMusikLCD 2x8.

First look at the new planar baffle on the 2x12" servo sub base.

Once the second baffle glue dries tomorrow, will install the drivers.

Had the BG Neo3-PDR's and BG Neo10's out of the original open baffles and installed one set in the new open baffle today with wiring to get ready for testing. Will be installing the planars in baffle #2 soon.

Will compare them to the GR-Neo3 as well along the way. If it is just sensitivity differences, easy to adjust for it in the digital crossover.
