Missing the departed masters

I stumbled across this video today.  Mulgrew was very kind to me when I was poking around NY in the early 80s trying to get my nose under the tent. I always thought of him as the modern McCoy Tyner, but I think Mulgrew may have been even more influential due to the different kind of scene we have in the post jazz era.

There are several very poignant quotes from Rollins and Miller in this video, some very timely, others timeless.
