Not in the cards right now. Things are too busy. I just picked up a case of Spaten Octoberfest at Price Club. I also picked up a case of "Kirkland" beer. Yup, they're branding their own now. It's made in Utica, where Saranac comes from. I'll be trying it this weekend to see if it's any good.

cool. BTW do you listen to music ?  Say hi to the wife. Maybe its time to grab Pete for some German food again.  Sorry back to the thread.
In heavy rotation all week was rock. Hard to believe but its true . Even Johnny Winter made an appearance.

Yup - was listening to this Wed night on 180g vinyl. Sweet.

Then this one on 20bit CD

Then moved back to vinyl for an old Keith Jarret record (not too much background singing on that one), but I forget the title and don't see it on Amazon.

I'll be playing more Saturday during the rainstorm. Need to check out a new Burson buffer that I have on loan ... and of course that Kirkland beer.
Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have to blow your nose.

Jazz Crusaders, before they truncated their name and funked it up.

The Festival Album.  Post bop, pre funk.

Black Sabbath VOL 4.  When I fist saw them on their Paranoid tour in Winnipeg 1971,Centennial Concert Hall, which seats about 2500 people, I was impressed. I had 6th row tickets and when you saw a wall of speakers on each side of the stage you didn't know what to expect until they played. It was so loud, but yet so clear it didn't hurt the ears.  These walls of speakers were about 30 feet hight and 20 feet wide. In front of each wall was a scaffold with about 4 or 5 walkways and a guy on each one.  They would keep walking back and forth during the concert listening to each speaker to see if it was blown and if it was it was immediately replaced. Going home on the bus that was when it really hit me on how loud it was.  My ears were ringing and I could hardly hear anybody talking at normal conversation levels. Luckily I was OK the next morning.

Bacobits-

Did I inspire you to pull out your Crusaders albums?  Or was it just random and lucky?

My favorite stuff from them is from the early '70's.  "Unsung Heroes" and the live "Scratch" are big on my rotation.  Both came out after they started funkin' but before they got a corporate logo.
