Latter Day Funk--Snoopzilla "7 Days of Funk"

Calvin Broadus, Jr. better known as Snoop Dogg has released a latter day funk record, featuring grooves both original and borrowed from the 70's.  The albums mellow and melodic tunes, requisite spacey keyboards, big fat bass and samples of 70's funk (along with Bootsy Collins samples[?]/fresh contributions[?]) make for an entertaining listen.  There's a little rap too, but not enough to off put the open minded.
