Post by: Guy 13 on November 06, 2019, 07:33:15 PM
Hi all.
I hope this is the right place for my question ? ? ?
My Internet radio (Grace Digital Mondo) show in the display
192KBPS - MP3 for many of the stations like : Smooth lodge - Stress relief, etc...
This is on Art Radio.
What would you consider this ?
Hi - med - lo audio quality ?

MP3 bit rates go up to 320 KBPS so I guess 192 would be considered medium as 320 is higher and there are also quite a few lower bit rates.

Thanks tmazz for the info.
To me, my system for ambiant music, it sounds really good to my ears.
I wonder if the Art Radio would transmit at 320Kbps would make a '' HUGE '' difference
or just a slight improvement to my soon to be 72 years old ears ?
By the way, Art Radio call it : High resolution.

Guy maybe however doubt it. I'm streaming Radio as well for my 68 year old ears and it is VG as is.

Give a listen to the stations that are part of the Audiophile Stream Network from Greece.

Search for Psychomed. (site won't open for me at work so sorry, no link)

The stations broadcast at 320 bitrate, with no commercials.

I have the baroque, classical, jazz and lounge "stations" entered into Tidal and also on my phone in the USB Audio Player Pro app.

I listen to them all the time at home and at work- Outstanding quality and music.
