Leaving FT. Lauderdale for the mid-Atlantic later today, hoping to get in before weather goes bad. Already feeling disenfranchised, so..............

Good stuff. Fear of a Blank Planet follow-through EP.

I need to go put this on now.

At airport, my flight pushed back 50 mins already, and I'm getting that queasy stomach that bad air-travel experiences always brings on.  Time to get to another place.....................

This original Atlantic pressing has more issues than I will generally tolerate in a record.  Love the music but I need to find myself a better copy.

I am giving this record another spin on my now operational Garrard 401.  This time with a Ortofon SPU 25CI MKII mono cartridge.  What a difference!  There were quite a few loud pops and clicks on this LP when played on my Ortofon Jubilee stereo cartridge.  The record was stone quiet with no surface noise on the mono SPU cartridge.  It sounded fantastic!  :thumb:

This is another mono record, issued in 1956, that sounded just so so on a stereo MC cartridge.  On the Ortofon mono SPU it sounded like someone took the so so record away and replaced it with a brand new LP.  What a difference!
