Little Feat was an amazing band, especially in concert. I've seen them 4 times and they never failed to deliver, even after Lowell George died.  Then again, The Feat with Lowell was an amazing show.  His slide playing was amazing!  He could eke more music out of a held single note than anyone... other than David Gilmore.........

Gilmore can do more with bending one note than anyone else in music.

Oh, yeah:  do you know what "Fat Man in the Bathtub" is about, right?

I think Dave is referring to some naughty bits in the song’s meaning. I’m not a lyrics guy, and can’t interpret them, so I looked it up, because I’ve always loved the song. There are varying ideas; I truthfully had no idea. I thought it was about cars- checking oil and stuff… Waiting For Columbus is a desert island disc for me.

Pete’s post is an album I was unfamiliar with; I had to listen at low volume, but it’s great so far. It’s on the weekend crank it up list along with some Dead soundboard stuff Hal gifted me.
