Some of my all time favorite CDs, these will blow your mind.

There are so many awesome Naxos discs.

And I don't think I've ever heard anything that I would consider a bad recording from them. It amazes me that for a label that puts out "budget CDs" they seem to be more consistently at the top of their game than the big labels.

Guys:

Thanks for posting notice of this sale.  I just placed an order for five CDs, thus further adding to my Classical Collection.  One of these days I will actually find the time to enjoy listening again!

Yes Tom, they are excellent audio quality. The clarity is better than most classical recordings which are sometimes a little heavy on the "edge removal" and compression. Naxos leaves the edge on, and mastering compression is clean and clear. So if your system is tuned for it the woody metallic ringing of strings comes right through like a live gig, better even because you are as close as the mics. Chamber strings never sounded better on disk than on Naxos.

Two more new ones on Naxos from my very favorite band, Pacifica Quartet:

I hope they stay on Naxos. They were on Cedille before, another good chamber music label.

You need to take a couple days off to finish your selections. Then work a few extra weekends to pay for them! haha

Don't worry Naxos will be on sale again, it's on regular periodic promotion... Whatever you don't finish in time for this sale you can put into your wishlist, ready for the next Naxos sale in a few months.

Only 1400 CDs?

Sounds like me trying to explain to my wife what I picked up on my last trip to Princeton Record Exchange.

Uh-Oh! Now their entire ArkivCDs catalog is on sale. All the reissues of classic out of print records burned to CD under license. I have a few of these, the sound quality is good.

10,000 more discs to flip through!
