Shelby Lynne - Identity Crisis

Shelby made somewhat of a splash in audiophile circles with last years release "Just a Little Lovin".
This 2003 album is cut from the same cloth. A little bit of blues, a little bit of jazz, a little bit of country.
If you liked Just a Little Lovin, give this one a try.

The Journeymen

A nice example of music from the early 60s folk scene.
The Journeymen were John Phillips (Later of the Mamas & the Poppas), Scott McKenzie (I know see who John Phillip's daughter was named after) and Dick Weissman

The LA Four - Going Home

A long time favorite. This album has great sound on CD and absolutely fantastic sound the original EastWind Direct to Disc Japanese LP. If you ever see one at a reasonable price don't think twice, just grab it. Amazon is now getting $160 for a used CD copy.

The LA Four - Pavane Pour Une Infante Defunete

Sister album to "Going Home."

Just as good, but just as insanely priced as well.

Not worth what they are asking for it as a direct online purchase (I'm not sure any CD is worth $200, no matter what it is), but either would make a great garage sale or thrift store find. Put both of these albums on your treasure hunting radar screens. [-o<

Jimmy Buffett - Encores

Just released 2 CD set. 22 tracks, each one an encore performance from one of the shows on the 2008 or 2009 tours.

A must for true Parrotheads.

Currently available only from WalMart. From what I understand general distribution will start later this month.

TMazz-

How were the Benson albums?  I have both in my collection, but haven't given them a spin them in more than 25 years.

I saw Benson several times.  I also saw Stanley Jordan at the Bottom Line in NYC in 1985.
