I love this topic!  I have found so much good music because it exists.  Thanks, all  :thumb:

Eric Bibb: Rainbow People

Tidal Streaming
Eric is one of the nicest people that I gave had the pleasure to meet... ever.  His aunt lived in Albuquerque and he has played here many, many times over the years.  We've seen him over 20 times over the years and he was always ready to engage.  A humble, genuine guy.

When we went on the Joe Bonamassa Blues Cruise that he played on, he recognized us and came over to talk.  We had dinner with him and it was very special.  He is a people person and values relationships.  Truly one of the good people in music.  I look forward to the next time...  hopefully.

Norris Turney Quartet: Big, Sweet n' Blue

Mapleshade CD

Turney joined the Duke Ellington Orchestra in 1969 as a backup and eventual replacement for Johnny Hodges, whose health was starting to fail him.

Musically a very enjoyable album wit the first rate sound we have come to expect from Mapleshade recordings.

What a find!  Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention... It's like Billy Joel has been touched by the ghost of Chopin and transported to Paris in 1920 to drink Absinthe with Eric Satie and Claude Debussey.
This is one I'll have to find a copy of and add to my collection.
...Amazon has my money and I'll have the cd tomorrow.
