Monster Cable speaker Banana plugs ... Shudder
« on: February 27, 2015, 01:17:01 PM »
I can't believe how much these plugs suck! I got them hooked up out  my Blue Circle bc 22 from Yamaha receiver Ceiling fronts. Going from bare wire i just wanted to use safety feature of the plugs since my Amp doesn't tie down bare wire that well.

It added a whole veil of noisy sheen that best can be described as a nice glossy laminate finish on wood. I guess i am going to have to get some Eichmann plugs dam.. I am trying to do it on the cheap. i thought how how much damage can they do?

Lol do not bother with these.

Take some fine sandpaper and clean off as much of the metal as you can. There might be a coating on there. Then, spray some WD-40 on it and see what happens.

Sounds like you're about to pitch them in the trash, so what's to lose....

(Or, I'll PM you my address) ;)
