"The Vamp"
« on: March 21, 2013, 12:03:41 PM »
I must admit that I'm not normally one who embraces change or new technology very quickly (as evidenced by the recent chronicling of my first major system over-hall in over 25 years!) so for something to "catch my eye", it's gotta really be unusual and/or different!

Check this out.

I think it's really a cool idea.  Besides, it may keep a bunch of old speakers from ending up in the land-fills!?!

Enjoy!

Good idea, until the battery runs out.
Trendy, youngins will like it, until the battery runs out. ;)

Thanks Bill!

Maybe they can rig it up to run off a reserve booster like "Red Bull" or a "5 Hour Energy Drink"...???  Just like running Nitrous Oxide in your car!

Good idea Bill! They could make a matching kinetic generator unit to stick onto a teenager drinking redbull. As he dances and fidgets he powers his speakers!

It has a mini usb port to recharge it.  Great idea for parties on the deck... or to look cool and resourceful in front of your friends in a late night hang-out situation. 8)

I have 1 'kit41' speaker floating around after I sold a pair... (this was my center) It's not particularly efficient, though.  I just wonder how long it can play and how it'd sound.

I really like this idea... very cool.
I really enjoy listening to music.

Is it really for sale? Didn't see a buy me button. I thought it was just a provocative teaser.
