Sooo did anyone blow anything up yet?  :duh. I am a klutz so I tend to stay away from these tweaks.

If one wants to get all historical and all, Mathew Bond's Tara Space & Time Phase II would be my first meeting with ground planing. This speaker cable was 2 separate runs of multiple 18 ga insulated solid core 'virgin Australian' copper, the first, positive, was a twisted pair, and the second, negative run was a triad, with 2 of the wires connected at both ends, and the third wire of the triad, only connected at the speaker end.....

MIT did the same thing with the MH-750 Shoutgun cables in the late eighties......

I found some x-rays of the MIT MH-750 Shotgun wiring. This Ground Plane stuff just looks plain odd.
