Ground Plane Wires

Sooo did anyone blow anything up yet?  . I am a klutz so I tend to stay away from these tweaks.

If one wants to get all historical and all, Mathew Bond's Tara Space & Time Phase II would be my first meeting with ground planing. This speaker cable was 2 separate runs of multiple 18 ga insulated solid core 'virgin Australian' copper, the first, positive, was a twisted pair, and the second, negative run was a triad, with 2 of the wires connected at both ends, and the third wire of the triad, only connected at the speaker end.....

MIT did the same thing with the MH-750 Shoutgun cables in the late eighties......

  Correctamundo. That is the cable that started my experimentation. Still own them.

  Correctamundo. That is the cable that started my experimentation. Still own them.

I found some x-rays of the MIT MH-750 Shotgun wiring. This Ground Plane stuff just looks plain odd.
