I have had a lot of luck quieting down records like that by cleaning them with a steamer. I have done dozens and never warped one yet.
And if it does warp, it wasn't playable anyway.
Would you like to try it? I'll send it to you. It's actually a decent performance of great music, just too noisy for me to enjoy. I'd be interested it your steamer could do something that my ultrasonic couldn't do.
The steamer I use is nothing fancy, just a small general purpose hand held unit similar to this:
I put the record on the floor on a towels and just blast the steam in a circular motion around the record a few times and then vacuum off the water and clean it once more on the VPI machine. It sometimes takes more than one try but it usually does the trick and has rescued quite a few unplayable records for me.
Of course if there is some kind of physical damage to the disc itself this won't help, but if the noise is caused by dirt this should do the trick.
I would be happy to try it for you, but if you have access to one of these little cleaners it is easy enough try yourself
