The last Prestige deep groove mono pressing of this title that I seen sell on eBay went for over $2,000.  So I'm glad that Analogue Productions has reissued it on QRP 200g vinyl.  It sounds great and the $30 price is right.

Another Goodwill LP find for $1. Perfect condition, this is my quietest record - I haven't cleaned it yet, maybe that's why?   :-P
Great modern recording quality from 1983 on EMI. I love Rattle. I wish all classical vinyl sounded like this.

Very nice Rich.  The Salvation Army and Goodwill thrift stores aren't the treasure trove for vinyl hunters that they used to be, but there are still some great records to be found.

I don't shop there as much as I used to, but when I do I always go out the door with something very worthwhile.

I'm happy with the last load, about 20 discs of this caliber. It's been 6 months since last visit, time to check it again, and there's another one a little further away. $1/disc isn't as cheap as the crack house junk bin, but pretty good considering we are 'outna-conn-tree.'

There are some real record stores in Raleigh and Durham proper, but I've not visited them yet.
