That is utmost importance!!! Specifications do not necessarily indicate good fidelity... Ever hear that transistor amp with maximum 0.02% THD??? Sounded like nails on a chalkboard as far as musicality...drive you from the room!!!

Some of the cables are Canare and the same for the terminations.
That is why they are priced reasonable.
What is the big deal? At least they admit it not like MAC cables that got caught recently.
I have used Canare in the past and they are good.

It depends on your outlook. First his cables are very reasonably priced. He uses Canare wire. The wire helps but is not the key factor. The Connector and method of connection weighs more IMO. He uses ERS product as well. For me no big deal. It was not a secret. He just did not advertise the wire.
  There are many manfs out there who use OEM wire. It is how the final product sounds not which wire. Now if he was charging a $1000 or $2000 then he deserves a spanking. However that is NOT the case. My 2 cents.

I think MAC got a bad rap too.

People were slamming him for not owning the mine where the copper came from (OK, hyperbole I know)

I don't think there was any deception on MACs part - more of a lack of understanding on the mfg process by his critics.
