The HDDTT release was mastered directly to DSD 256 from the original tapes. I chose to go with the DSD 64 version because I wanted this more from a historical reasons that for SQ. I'm glad that i did, because while the sound is OK, it is not a sonic blockbuster that I would say is worth taking up 6+ Gb of hard drive space.
Still an enjoyable album, just not DSD256 material IMHO.
