So "the pool" is nothing more than inflatable kiddie pool for my 4 year old grandson. At the end of the day I need to take it down so it doesn't burn the grass. This afternoon my wife decided it had been hot all day and the vegetables and flowers needed watering and since we had to empty the pool anyway, it would be ecological thing to do to use the pool water for that purpose. So she went into the garage and came back with buckets for us to scoop water out of the pool and put it into the gardens. Watching my grandson very proudly scoop water out of the pool and march across the yard with it gave me an idea and I grabbed my iPad and had Roon play the Sorcerer's Apprentice on the patio speakers. The three of us then proceeded to spend the next 12 minutes scooping water to the music of Paul Dukas. It was a cute scene.Unfortunately his parents came to pick him up before I had a chance to play the section of the Fantasia DVD and connect the dots for him, but I will do that some day soon, as we must educate the next generation.
