Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you'll have to blow your nose.

Forget the $250, for $100 more I would jump all over the single ended triode model. Unfortunately my current headphones are electrostatics which require a speaker level signal to drive them.  :(

Temping.... no, must resist...

To be honest, I don't listen to headphones that much.  I've got a nice pair of cans - the Sennheiser HD600s, but my headphone amp is an old Supreme Headroom and, to be honest, just doesn't sound all that great.

This Schiit looks good!  (couldn't resist ;-)

For headphones I like the bass control and silence of SS, it can power cans down to 8 ohms! But it would nice to sample the tubes too, but they would need to be upgraded from stock sovteks which usually sound pretty rough.  Buy em both for 600!  Send one back, or not?  It's a really schiity deal.

Sol has a headphone amp that some local headfi guys are using. I gotta give it another listen. Last time was bad system synergy with Sonos>Altmann. All that jitter leaked right through.

When starting a topic, please put actual information in the post and not just a link to something else.

"Guaranteed" doesnt' tell me anything.. and I'm not going to click on some link without knowing what it's about.  It's a security risk to me.

Thanks for your understanding...
I really enjoy listening to music.

Looks interesting, I didn't see a link to the manufacturer's website though...

You're right. I find it very strange that a review in an online magazine would give snail mail and telephone contact information, but not the company web site. Go figure.  :-k

Anyway a Google search of the company name came up with the following:

Yeah I found it yesterday the same way @ work (was at lunch).  I like the look of the Valhalla, it's gorgeous looking.  And I like the idea of a SET headphone amp too.  I have an older Sennheiser HD540 gold reference set, I wonder if it'd be OK with that...
