I find it odd that the website for CAF2020 does not indicate it is cancelled. I can't imagine an audio show this fall.Does anyone know officially if it is cancelled?
-
Cancelled and banned in Boston.

I saw a blurb on some audio publication email that 2020 has been cancelled, and that plans for 2021 are underway...
-
Why would it be banned in Boston. Speaking of which, if anyone enjoys baked beans, I find B&M ‘Boston’s Best’ to be my favorite.

I agree B&M have been a staple at our home forever. Banned in Boston was a joke.

Thanks. Read about it, learned something new.

Well back on Nov 5th-8th. Booked and ready to rumble. Not showing this year our lines as our distributor is. Hope to see a few AN people there.

Anyone go to CAF this year? If yes, how did it go?
-
I went. It was pretty good. There was a good amount of vendors/manufacturers although I wish there were more. Just enough attendees to make it a success with out making it too crowded so it was very pleasant. My favorite rooms were Kharma, Tidal, Acora, Salk. I would say 70% of the rooms were spinning vinyl. Of the 30% that were digital, 90% of them were using Lampizator DAC's.

Interesting (particularly about the Lampi DACs). Thanks Jim.
-
PS: From the manufacturers I spoke with they are SLAMMED with business. Salk has a 6 month waiting list, Rogue about 8 weeks. Modwright is having trouble keeping up with demand. So ironically the audio business is doing well

Yes that is a particularly strong statement given all the DACs out there. It's something I need to compare with my dac in the future.

It is busy. We are the busiest we have ever been. Especially Qln Speakers. Cannot get enough of them. The Prestige 3 and 1 are selling like hotcakes.

Glad business is booming, Charles :thumb: I just read the review on them at PTA.
