La Catrina Quartet
« on: October 17, 2008, 07:22:57 PM »
Hi Guys,

Has anybody heard of these wonderfully gifted musicians?

http://www.lacatrinaquartet.com/intro.htm

I was listening to a little classical radio on the way home from my inlaws and although I just started listening as of late because I've grown so tired of pop radio. This group is surely destined for recognition.

I believe the song I heard was titled "Rhapsody" but I'm not sure of the composer. Anybody out there that can steer me in the right direction?

They are coming to Elon here in NC on 12/2, I'm gonna try to go. Thanks Bill!  I love string quartets best of all.

I couldn't find any discography or find anything named Rhapsody. You can call the station to ask what it was. They must log the playlist. Sometimes they will list it online. Maybe worth checking?

What?!  You don't like the same 5 songs from the Eagles and Led Zep mixed with Shakira and Usher?  Man, you want too much!
I really enjoy listening to music.

I'm glad to hear that it's a North American problem and not just up here.

The biggest Rock station in town up here feels the needs to play a Zep song at least once an hour. I love Zep but it gets to be a little much. Stairway To Heaven is a classic but shit do I really need to hear it played 3 or 4 times a day?
