Hi S Clark.

The comment to which you're quoting me was made in the post in which I was listening to Sting, 2/27/1985 which was three days ago. The answer to your question is simple. First, what show do you want? I ask because your reply comes after my latest post, Santana, 18 February 1978. Once you let me know what you want, I shall then prepare the music for you. By that I mean I shall post a link herein this thread for you to download a single zip file, the contents would be flac and other associated files belonging to the show. You would then play the flac file(s) on whatever device you currently use to playback digital files. EDIT: or separate subject, if you're a digital aficionado, would first decompress the flac to wav.

Having gone through this procedure more than 1000 times in my life with various individuals, I discovered a problem the last time I distributed files in this manner to ejk / Evan. Suffice it to say I understand what the issue was, and succinctly speaking it has to do with the 256-character limitation of windows. No worries there at this point as I've devised a way to circumvent that issue. Besides, that is only problematic in cases where folder names and/or file names are very long, which was the case in what I had distributed. Even then, I made a correction and redistributed the files, which according to my records were not subsequently downloaded and have since expired.

Back to you, S Clark. Just let me know what show you're interested in.  :)

Best.

Hal

Hal, let's try the Sting concert that you were enamored with.  It would be a good way to compare material that I'm quite familiar with.

I was listening to them today as I was running errands and thought that they might be of interest to some people here.  David Jacobs-Strain and Christopher worth came across my bow at one of the 4th of July Portland Blues Festivals back before the world changed.  David usually does short west coast tours with harmonica player Bob Beach.  Always a good show, no matter what the make up. That odd looking dobro that David plays is made by Larry Pogreba.  He lives off the grid in rural Montana in the summers and Truth or Consequences NM in the winter.  He is one eclectic dude.  https://larrypogreba.com/     There is some interesting music downloadable on his site!
