Nick,

On Qobuz check out;    Fausto Mesolella, his "Live Ad Alcatraz " is wonderful.

 Great guitar.

Thanks, Bill!
Just found him on Qobuz and bookmarked. Sounds great on my iPad....maybe even better tonight on the big rig??

A really well recorded album. It is a shame he passed away in 2017. His Live Ad Alcatraz was never made in LP form but his other albums are, or at least two
of them as I had to pick them up as they really are Reference recordings , tubed Neumann microphones, just a lovely warm presentation.

Interesting guitar Nick, thanks for posting this selection. Sounds very nice indeed. So much good music out there.

On the subject of guitarists, here is a selection from Tommy Emmanuel. Music starts about 3 minutes in, for those who just want the music.

This one is about 2 hrs, in St. Louis.

It is captivating Nick. The sweeping melody and visuals are cool and that very deep bass
"undertow" is just marvelous.

Thanks for sharing.

The whole recording is so wonderful with the players interacting, excellent in virtually all aspects. Just a wonderful recording.

With that in mind, pay close attention to the cello at ~ 5:20 minute mark. I am glad they took the slight mishap with such grace and even humor.

Gents, I just found this site today. Minimalist recording, ambience in spades, and naturalness, even in YouTube premium.

Thanks, Steve. I really enjoy the clarinet. Tried to donate a few 💵, but it never did link me to anything. Oh well....

Thanks, Steve. I really enjoy the clarinet. Tried to donate a few 💵, but it never did link me to anything. Oh well....

I had no problem, using Firefox browser just now Nick. I have seen where my browser did not work at a location. Or maybe it was just a temp snag. I did not attempt to enter my own amount in; maybe that made a difference?

I clicked directly on the amount shown ($10, $35 etc box) and the amount showed up in the $ amount box. I then clicked donate and proceded to the next webpage and entered my credit card information. I clicked donate at the bottom and the transaction went through.

I also just loved the clarinet quality. Piano was good, the viola was a little weak, prob a mic placement. Still an amazing recording imo.

cheers and thanks for your input Nick.

Thanks, Steve. Maybe as simple as the browser. Will check it out. How nice that musicians have adapted and still are able to contribute to our musical enjoyment 🎶😀

I hope it helps Nick.

I immediately loved the song when the ladies/gent discussed the selections. The room ambience is one of my favorite
parts of any selection. Just sounded so real.

Cheers and great week Nick.

She is playing the domra, a long-necked Belarusian, Russian, and Ukrainian folk string instrument of the lute family with a round body and three or four metal strings.

Thanks, Tom. I don’t think I could have figured that out. Have never heard of the Domra. Am guessing some of those comments on utoob are maybe Cyrillic
