Anyone have a chance to give the new Cary CAD-120s a listen?

Like the title states, I'm trying to get some thoughts on the new Cary tube amp. Put up a post elsewhere
and not a single reply, figure someone has heard this baby and if so please fill us in! Thanks!

I have not seen or heard this beauty yet. But I enjoy my SLI-80 very much when used within the role for which it was designed, lighter loads. I would expect the new model to be even better based on tube compliment and significant power increase.

Demented we are that a $3,000 amp could be described as cheap.  Think about how much you're saving!!!   :D

John,
           Heard those babies driving Some Snell E5s. Typical Carey house sound : lush, romantic and weighty. Not overly detailed in the top with excellent bass. Classic tube sound.
           Hope that helps however as you well know its all moot until plugged into your system.

I'm surprised that there isn't more info out there on it, I can't find anything. I have LS-9's on order and with their 91db rating I figure 120 wpc should drive them quite nicely, especially tube watts!  I currently have a Classe CA-300 and I want to try that on the 9's first and then give tubes a try. My preamp is a Cary SLP-98P and I do like the Cary "house sound" so your thoughts on what you heard Rollo do sound like what I'm looking for. Hopefully a review pops up soon. Thanks for the info!!
