Title: MEETINGS
Post by: rollo on August 25, 2021, 12:11:13 PM
If several of our members including our President and Board members meet at a Rest and then a Board members home to listen on Fridays as well as on FB partying with friends we should have a meeting. My 2 cents.

I don't do facebook so I can't comment about any posts there, but There is a big difference between having five or six people over for a small group listening session and putting 25 or 30 members in the same size space for a general meeting. (If you remember the last meeting I hosted at my house we had 48 people there.) Covid spread varies with density and the more people you pack into a room the great the potential for viral load in the air and the close in proximity all of the people will be.

I am not saying that we should or should not restart meetings, just that I don't think the two situations are comparable and you can really use one to justify the other.
