Hi everyone,

I'm an avid audiophile and music lover, livin' the dream on the coast of California with my beloved wife and Black Lab. Ostensibly retired after a 40-year IT career. Together with my lovely wife, I enjoy listening to string bands and blues, catching occasional live shows, hiking, food and booze.

Found this forum while researching Uberbuss (want one). If Dave and Pete are listening, I'm interested to upgrade my early adopter (2012) TWL loom, too. Rumor has it there is synergy between your respective power products.

As you might deduce from my avatar, I'm a longtime Tannerd. Let me know if I'm Tannoying you and I'll stifle.

My Kensington SE speakers are powered by a pair of Marantz Reference mono blocks (MA-9S2) and a stereo control amp (SC-7S2).

Digital front end (bitstream source) is a shiny new Lumin X1 network music player. It has exceeded my expectations, if not wildest dreams for realism and tone. Spotify is startling - "there's more there" in my wife's words. Cannot wait to try Qobuz and hear my favorite music in hi-res!

Look forward to engaging in lively, civilized discourse with you.

Best, Brian

Never heard the tannoying sound of your speaker but would like to some day.
The Kensington seems to have a pretty good following.
Your on the right track with Pete and Dave. Both make great product and each are
fairly humble.
Welcome to a pretty nice group of guys.

Welcome, Brian! Glad to have you. Can’t say I’ve heard the Kensington’s either. I’d love to hear the Marantz gear. There is a recent thread here regarding a freebie trial on Qobuz. If you get stuck, I’m sure shadowlight will help you. He’s the one who let us know about it. Looking forward to your posts and discussions. We have a very friendly group here.
