We have a annual one in Eugene Oregon. It was March 1st this year so no worries about Coronavirus. A huge hotel ballroom packed with vendors. I imagine most events now will be cancelled?

They wouldn't be very practical under the current social distancing rules. The limit of 10 people in a gathering would have to include not only the customers, but all of the vendors and event staff as well.

As much as I love going to record stores and shows there is no way I would go near either one right now. Even if i could make sure that nobody got within six feet of me, who knows who touched or couched on the records or CDs before you got there.

I would say that musical social distancing means that we are pretty much limited to downloading files for the near future.

Or at the very least buying things online and shipping them media mail, so that the records are in transit long enough for any viruses that are on them die before the package gets to you.

Who knew that the post office's slowest service would turn out to be a strategic advantage?

I'm with you on tbis one tmazz.  It's simply not worth the risk at this time (if they even have it now). Too many people out there that could be sick but have not been tested or not showing signs. Maybe go through your music library and listen to some music you haven't listened to in a while? Have enough time, maybe write your own music 😂
Stay home and stay safe my friends.

I think if I went through my albums one by one I could not only outlast this virus, but its next 12 mutated cousins as well.   8)
