Those paradigm studio 10,s I think are a real gem. Look great with really good imaging.

Hi Steve, welcome to AudioNervosa!

I didn't know about Studio 10. Last time I looked at Paradigm Studio 20 was the smallest. I auditioned the Studio 100v3 back in 05, but I imagine the whole line has changed a lot since then.

At least they recognize that the top limit for starter speakers is $1500. I would even say lower for much of the general public, but for a budding audiophile that is about right. But many of those speakers will still need a decent sub to fill in the bottom end, and that would add another couple of hundred dollars at least.
They should have listed 2-3 of those as well.

My Buddy Eddie an 83 year old music lover uses a  modest NAD  intergrated and Paradigms. Sounds really good to me. Yes he uses a sub. Fills the whole room. Does no harm. A matter of omission rather than fault IMO.

I have recommending Paradigm speakers to friends for close to 20 years (and have outiffted ny entire HT setup with them) The lower end of the Paradigm lines have always performed at a level that is far beyond what one would expect for the price. A real sound per $ champ in my book.

i used to own Paradigm Monitor 11 V2's and Reference Studio 100 V3's and the 100's were very good speakers in my opinion
