Hey Gents don't through away those cassettes. Recently played some and beat an up-sampled DSD SACD. Mobile Fidelity recording. Maybe a fair test would have been a CD that is AAD at 44.1 against cassette but Man are ya gonna be surprised.
Anyone still play cassettes ? Realized I have dozens stored which I just forgot about. Actually in the UK coming back big time.

Hi Charles,
when I get to Montreal next year,
I will get my Nakamichi BX100 repaired.
I still have 2 dozens of recoreded cassettes
and ten new ones still in original wrapping.
I want to get it repaired and keep it,
beause put it for sales will only get me less than 100 USD,
so might keep it and use it, even if it's only a few times a year.

Note:
Onced repaired (BX100) I will take my Rega Apollo
and transfer via analog RCA from it to the BX100
to hear what I've lost in the transfer ? ? ?

Threw out about 200 cassettes when we moved. Tried to sell them at our garage sale - no interest from anyone. No surprise. I still have my NAK deck but no more tapes and no value on the deck for resale.

Hi all.
My Nakamichi BX100 need repair, (It's probably 40 years old)
but I am wondering if it's worth the cost of repair,
probably around 100 CND and resale value on Kijiji probably between 30 to 50 CND.
Sooo.... I will see if I get it repaired and keep it as a paper weight !
