Marjorie Baumert ran the show this year after show founder (and her husband)  Al Stiefel passed on earlier this year.

Isn't it amazing....there's so much "stuff" out there....makes your head spin. :?

By the way Rich....those new Usher speakers, the Mini Dancer 2's...very nice.Their similar to the Acoustic Zen speakers....but better. Jeff is trading in his big Ushers for them. They sounded very good at RMAF.

Jeff PM'd me this review tonight.... http://www.avguide.com/review/playback-23-usher-audio-mini-dancer-two-floorstanding-loudspeaker

Wow, they must be really good to catch Jeff's ear like that.  Thanks for the review.

I just saw this article, my buddy Joe Cohen, fellow ANer and importer of those crazy Feastrex drivers from Japan, finally got some respect from US audio press - best sound of show from Robert Harley. Complete active speaker system with custom digital crossovers, twin Pass F5s, AE Dipole12 bass drivers, and the top of the line Feastrex field coil 9" driver = $120k.
Feeling the living cellist inside your body = priceless.

It should be fully dialed in by CES, I would love to check that out.
Some good cabinet designs are finally surfacing, and the potential of these awesome drivers is starting to be heard.

So John, when will you be getting your Granada demo speakers in? ;) Black Sand is a Feastrex dealer! woohoo!

Neodymium is easier, cheaper and good enough for most applications. Field coil is extreme technology for extreme audiophiles. I would get them if I could afford it.

Man, that site drives me nuts the way it is constructed.
Same with Dogogo they need to start from scratch.

Nice photos.  Wow, it's been a month and half already since the show, and only ten and half months before the next one.
