I"m definitely surprised that the caps tested good.  That's way beyond their estimated shelf life.  I've got all my parts in- plan to get started tomorrow. 
It's good to have a tube guru for a friend.  My guy was Gary Dodd... sure miss him.

  Still have a Fisher 101 integrated amp. Years back that was King with a pair of 5302 Heco Hoerns. That was my first tubed piece.
