Wow, that's definitely not "weird", but it's very awesome. That's amazing! Love it!   :thumb:

ok bob, here's what you need to do.  find a used grace gdi-irdt200 internet tuner.  (nla new.)  output its digital output into a nice dac.  connect the dac to your main rig.  you will find a plethora of different selections, chill/electronica included.  and, w/a nice dac, even relatively low bit-rate 128khz feeds sound really nice - nice enough for serious listening, not just background.

happy listening!   :D

some stations:
L'Eko de Garrigues - 1000k (usually some sort of electronica)

L'Eko de Garrigues - 128k (same as above, lower bitrate; also identifies songs/artists)

ambient - party vibe radio

fip - france, various (this may be one of the best stations ever.  just the most unbelievably eclectic mix you will ever hear anywhere.  classical, trance, dub step, old rock, new eclectic music, old jazz, metal, folk, new jazz, hip-hop, opera, bizarre and interesting covers & tributes, reggae, etc. they even play french music on occasion! they play literally everything.  and not just specific shows at specific times.  the randomness is non-stop.  i love this station.  and, it sounds really good, even at 128khz.)

i have quite a bit more loaded into my grace that i haven't listed.  and, here's a link for hi-rez streams (growing all the time):

happy listening!

Hey Doug,
Thanks for taking the time to put that list together. My fav so far is fip France. What a great way to spend an evening exploring stations. I was on the Grace site and the 200 is discontinued and the 800 is out of stock. Prices are actually quite reasonable

Nick, I have the ability to do internet radio via the control software for my Bluesound Node.  I would think that ability is built into your Auralic streamer as well.

What would the Grace unit offer you that you cannot already do?

Tom,
It was partly out of my curiousity and it also reminded me of my Revox tuner that I had years ago. I believe the Auralic Mini has that capability, but I recall it had some preset stations only. As nothing is hooked up yet, it’ll be a little while until I can test  it out

I kept fast forwarding this in small increments to the end....glad I did. Based on the comments section, some folks liked it though.

Fair enough, thanks for giving it a shot and skimming through.
Did anyone like it?  Guess not based on the lack of comments.
