While on the subject of "new" speakers, new to me, has anyone heard those from Decaware? I am especially interested in their omni ones. They seem inexpensive for what they offer.

My friend owns the DEcware omni's, they are great!. They look like a tube fitted with a 6 or 8 inch inverted woofer firing into the tube with a ribbon tweeter on top.

They fill the room with great tone, I was very impressed, a very low stress speaker that just makes music.
System consists of an amp a preamp, 2 speakers a turntable and a phono preamp, Also some cables and power cords and a really cheap cd player.

I've never heard them, but they'd caught my eye a while ago, and I'd still love to give 'em a good listen.

FWIW the spelling is Decware...

I've heard most of their models ( I live 70 miles away), the ERRs are very musical, easy to drive, and you can basically sit anywhere in the room and still have a soundstage.

I have a pair of their more expensive cousins.

What about their TL's (the 944 I think)? I have a rather old and simple TL and these look far more evolved. I fear shipping costs will put them out of my range but it's nice to learn new things and the website is very informative.

The MG944s are a steal at $1295, musical, easy to drive with real bass.
Up until about 8 months ago they were under $1k.

It is a protective cover for the radial driver.
4 plastic balls with a frame and grill cloth.

My speakers are not technically Decware, they were designed and built by Decware's speaker builder Bob Ziegler (aka ziggy - he lives in Hudson, NC). They are now called Turning Point Audio HR1s, I did not know this until I read the review below a few days ago.

Here are the now discontinued Decware speakers that my speakers descended from.

Decware speakers are built in Hudson, NC, I'm not sure if they demo them there but I could find out if anyone is interested.

There isn't much in there. No other sites or links or reviews?
