Title: Low microphonic 12ax7 for phono stage

What are your recommendations for low microphonic 12ax7 tubes?  The Sylvania JAN and organ tubes look promising... ?????

After spending more than I care to admin on NOS Vintage 12AX7 tubes, and having so many be noisy, I found that the new production Gold Lion's were one of my favorites and dead silent.  I realize right now they might be harder to get but it sounds like the Russia ban has been worked around.  If you really want to go the vintage route, I would call up Brent Jesse or Jim Mcshane or your favorite vendor and they can select something quiet out of their stash.

We are talking about tubes in a Hagerman trumpet phono pre.  It has two 12au7's and 4 12ax7's.  I currently have old Mullards in all 12ax7 positions.  Very musical, but a bit soft on the top.  A friend has loaned me a set of Gold Lions and a set of Russian Tung Sols.  I have a pair of Sylvania JAN's coming.  That should give me plenty to listen to for a while.
