My stomach gurgle!

I can't believe I ate the WHOLE thing!  Antipasta, Italian bread, Turkey, Stuffing, String Bean Casserole, Stuffed Mushrooms, Whipped Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows, Homemade cranberry sauce with pineapple & Mandarin oranges, a bottle of red (Chianti) and white (Pinot Grigio).

Trying to gather up enough energy for "fanuk" (aka finocchio or fennil), roasted mixed nuts, dried figs and more wine, before we move on to dessert!

Pumpkin was delicious, many thanks to Mr Pumpkin. Apple pie is on deck, for a snack with the Pats.

Now onto some jazz, Mulligan Tentette 1953, the real birth of the cool, no stoners. One of the most important jazz records ever made. The cover looked like this in 1953:

This is my favorite Chet Baker record. I think his best playing, although there's not a lot of it, whatthere is earned him best trumpet reader's poll over Dizzy, KD and Brownie. After 40 years of listening to this record it still gives me chills and I start choking up thinking about what this record accomplished. The power of a pretty line.

First time I have sat and listened to the system for a while, feels gooood! Maybe because I pulled out the $200 Audiosource amp out and put in stereofool's ARC Ref1 and VT100 mk3. Talk about Thanksgiving - Praise GOD!

Complete Columbia Recordings 1955-1961 - flac

Sitting at customer site waiting for rest of my team to finish and off to airport to do consultant shuffle. Bouncing between Rochester, NY and Concord, NH till mid-January, so not getting much time in with system.

Primitive Cool
Mick Jagger | Format: Audio CD

Was never a huge fan of Jagger as a solo act, but lead off song here, Throwaway, is pretty strong.

Wow Jerome, I'm a fan of both Lockjaw and Jackie Mc, but never saw either of those albums before.

Good?

The Tough Tenors LP with Johnny Griffin and Eddie Davis is the better of the two, but I can recommend them both.
