There are probably some participants and showgoers on this site... I'm looking forward to it as usual. The hotel renovation seems to be complete, so a proper bar should be there this time. A martini in a plastic cup is just wrong.
Anyone have something special they want to hear/see? I want a $1,000.00 turntable...

Hope to see folks there. Will be there the entire show to look at what has changed in 2 years. Missed last year.

Maybe one of these years I’ll be able to attend, but not this time.
A couple of brief reports from RMAF would sure be appreciated

Planning on attending Sunday... too many "honey-do list" items need attending this weekend, so Saturday is shot.
FWIW... for those coming in, the Great American Beer Festival is also going down in Denver. Tickets may be hard to come by, but many local tap houses are having special events/tappings throughout this week and into the weekend.
Rich - If you feel adventuresome, and want to check out a place that specializes in Sours... lookup "Crooked Stave". It's up in the River North (NW) section of Denver (opposite side of Denver from RMAF). It's in an old warehouse with a ton of other shops (bakery, coffee shop, butcher, co-work space) and a couple restaurants - one of which is really good called "Acorn". All of these places reside in a place called The Source.

Will miss this one. Just doing to many shows this year. Will be showing at CAF, NY Show and CES. If you get a chance visit the Well Pleased Audio Room. Hear the AQUA DAC and RETHM speakers.

BTW... will you be in a room on Sunday, or will you be wandering? I was going to bring ya something, and was hoping to pick your brain.

Dave,
I will be wandering around all day.
Just PM me and we can meet up. Picking of brains usually needs beer. I hear there is a new bar. :)

Not this year. Too much has been going on inour lives to justify spending the time, much less the $$$ for this one. After the comments about last year's show, I will be interested to see the reviews of the show itself. I know that Marjorie founght an uphill battle to get things to happen this year.
Rich, please say "Hi" to Chris for me.

Dave,
Will do!

Haven't been to the show for a few years. Looking forward to it and meeting new and old friends. Make sure you put your username on your badge to make it easier for us to find each other. See you this weekend.

Out of curiosity, I've never been to a show let alone RMAF... Any recommended rooms?
I do plan on spending a bit of time at CanJam (I'm in the market and hoping to be able to compare a few models). I was hoping to try a couple Meze models, but I don't seem them listed. :(
I'm a little overwhelmed with the list of exhibitors.... any recommendations for a few rooms to check out? I'm extremely frugal with audio funds, so let that be a guide. I assume most are all finished goods producers, but any DIY-ish related rooms/areas would be of interest.
I may recap a couple prior Tyson/Pez reviews just to get a loose idea of a few.
