I have the Classic Records gold CD pressing of Ella's Clap hands album. Great music, great SQ. A nice vinyl copy has been on my search list for a while now. Some day.......  [-o<

(Hey, if I found them all right away it would take all the fun out of the hunt.)

Heading over to the Crack House right after work. I got an e-mail this morning saying that they are having a special 50% off sale today for all customers with a VIP card (pretty soon they should be upgrading mine from gold to platinum status.  )

I also have the Classic Records 200g vinyl reissue of this one Tom.  I bought the mono deep groove pressing as part of a lot of other Ella records and the price was right.

When I visited an AC member to audition the Jasmine phono pre this was one of the records he played, the 200g version. What sound! I bought a generic copy at the crackhouse in Silver Spring, but it's really too banged up to put on the good tt. Then I got it on CD.

But I can still hear the 200g version in my head  nice.

ebay - not crackhouse, it's a Sinatra kinda swinging day - a ring a ding ding!

Sellers swear these are all near mint - we shall see.

Most from the late '50s/early 60's period of his career.

FRANK SINATRA No One Cares CAPITOL U.K. Pressing
FRANK SINATRA My Way
FRANK SINATRA "moonlight sinatra" OG Reprise
FRANK SINATRA "Where Are You?"
Frank Sinatra Strangers in Night
Frank Sinatra "Nice 'N' Easy"
FRANK SINATRA  "I'VE GOT A CRUSH ON YOU"
Frank Sinatra – Sinatra At The Sands
FRANK SINATRA Capitol Box Set (6LP's) 1968
FRANK SINATRA SEPTEMBER OF MY YEARS
FRANK SINATRA "A SWINGIN' AFFAIR!"
Frank Sinatra My Way
FRANK SINATRA Tell Her That You Love Her 1963 CAPITOL MONO
Frank Sinatra Swinging Session!!! Original 1961 LP Capitol

Got these two Kentons on ebay, both advertised as near mint, both crap-o-la! Pity, I really wanted A in R, the other was a 'throw-in'.

Waiting for guy to refund my money, we shall see.

Stopped in at Radio-Active records in Ft. Lauderdale, found somemore 6 eye Columbias, but they were all beat.

Found a bunch of John Coltrane, some nice Impulse jackets, but again they were beat.

In the end, grabbed Weather Reports "Heavy Weather", and left.

That hurts more than not finding anything at all.  :(
