Obvious false and lying review.

Hi Gents,

I found an obvious false review by a John Doe a AudioPhile (top review) at this location.

I contacted the mag and not even a reply. I have just tried again. Are there any thoughts or other remedies anyone can think of that might help?

My last attempt just failed due to their email address not working. It was admin@audioreview.com

I would say just post a new review disputing what the one that John Doe posted. If you got a bounce back message from the AudioReview Admin e-mail then we won't have any luck either.

Also when I see a review like that it should be discarded. It is such an outlier from all the other good reviews.

It's actually a net positive for you, imo, because it is such a contrast from the other reviews, it makes them seem more reasonable and more valuable than if there were no kook review. He is not reviewing the preamp, he's personally attacking you, and without any reasonable criticisms.

You bring up some interesting points, and I agree Rich. I had been thinking of posting a reply, and stating Bunky, who posts on AudioNervosa is William W. As such how could I be posting under his name? But I suppose my conceived post is not necessary, it just complicates things, so let it go. If someone cannot figure out the post is trash, it would be unusual.
